Sheung Wan Tour

Many of you have probably heard of Sheung Wan, part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island, but are you familiar with its significance in the establishment and development of Hong Kong?

Join us for a tour to one of the earliest established regions of Hong Kong. Starting our tour with a fine dim sum breakfast at one of the rare old styles of teahouses in Hong Kong, we'll introduce you to the history of the area, and lead you to explore some of the Nam Pak Hongs where you can take a closer look at some of the strangest food products in Hong Kong!

The tour is part of a project funded by the Knowledge Transfer Project Fund (KTPF), which aims to develop a platform that helps tourists explore this area's rich culure and history. Several of our MA/MPhil students are currently involved in this project and have kindly agreed to lead the tour. Details are below:

WHEN: 27 Mar. (Sunday); 9am
MEET: Outside Sheung Wan MTR Exit C
FEE: Free, self-paid dim sum breakfast (~$80 each)
QUOTA: 15
SIGN UP: Before 25th Mar. on the postgraduate students' notice board on NAH 4th floor, or by writing to us at email.pssad@gmail.com, or in person.

See you there!
